Used sails must be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure your safety at sea as well as to preserve their maximum performance and life expectancy. Your sails are the engine of your boat and should be looked after by a professional sailmaker.

If your boat sails haven't been looked after in the last couple years or start showing sings of wear & tear, they should to be inspected and maintained. You now have a chance to get this done, in Taiwan, through our UK Halsey-HK winter sail-care program:

- We will collect your sails at the end of October and organize a group shipment to the Hong Kong loft;
- The sails will be inspected and repaired as needed by our UK Halsey professional sailmakers;
- The sails will be labeled and returned to Taiwan in a group shipment. We will organize the sail distribution so you get your sails back before the sailing / racing season starts;
- The benefit from this program are to avoid the expensive shipping fees from Taiwan to Hong Kong and back while taking advantage of our manufacturing downtimes that allow us to spend more time looking and caring after your sails.
